--English-- Bruxism (BRX) is defined as a disorder characterized by the alteration of normal oral movements, accompanied by other non-functional ones that involve clenching and/or grinding the teeth and contractures of one or more muscle groups that participate in chewing. Therefore, to treat bruxism it is essential to reduce the action and strength of involuntary movements, but without limiting those that are voluntary (chewing, swallowing, phonation). Botox, for its part, is a botulinum toxin that blocks the transmission of stimuli from neurons to muscles. As a result, the muscles do not receive the message from the brain, which causes a decrease in contractions of the muscles on which it is applied. For this reason, Botox has proven to be very effective in reducing the force used during episodes of bruxism. And, at the same time, it allows the patient to chew and lead a normal life. Therefore, it is a safe, painless and very non-invasive therapy, which improves the quality of life of people with bruxism. The price includes 100 Units of Botox, but may vary if more or less is required. Bótox para bruxismo
