Muscle Liberation

Muscle Relaxation Therapy (Targeted Relief Session) This specialized physical therapy service is designed exclusively for muscle relaxation and tension relief. The session focuses on up to three muscle zones, selected based on your specific areas of discomfort or tightness. Available treatment areas include: * Neck * Upper trapezius (upper back and shoulders) * Arms (biceps, triceps, and forearms) * Lower back * Gluteal muscles * Hamstrings * Quadriceps * Calves The session combines manual therapy, sustained pressure, soft-tissue mobilization, targeted Theragun® release, and guided stretching techniques tailored to the selected muscle groups. For lower-body recovery and circulatory support, air compression boots may be utilized to reduce muscle soreness, promote lymphatic return, and support recovery. Stretching is applied in a controlled and progressive manner to reduce resting muscle tone, restore optimal muscle length, and enhance joint mobility. When integrated with hands-on therapy, stretching helps improve tissue elasticity, decrease neuromuscular tension, and support more efficient movement patterns. This service is particularly beneficial for athletes who train frequently and individuals that are starting to train. High training volumes can lead to accumulated muscle tightness, reduced range of motion, and delayed recovery. Targeted stretching and relaxation techniques help counteract these effects by promoting faster recovery, improving flexibility, reducing stiffness, and supporting overall training longevity. Regular sessions may also help athletes maintain better movement quality between workouts and minimize the risk of overuse-related discomfort. This service does **not** include injury rehabilitation, corrective exercise, or performance programming. Its sole purpose is focused muscle relaxation and recovery to help you feel looser, move more freely, and recover more effectively.

Physiotherapy First Evaluation

The Initial Physical Therapy Evaluation is a comprehensive, one-on-one assessment designed to identify the origin causes of pain, movement limitations, or performance deficits. This session establishes a clear clinical and performance baseline and serves as the foundation for an individualized plan of care, whether the goal is injury rehabilitation, corrective exercise, or performance programming. We start with the clinical biomechanical assessment, which examines how the body moves as an integrated system. Through detailed analysis of posture (static and dynamic), joint mechanics, movement sequencing, and load distribution. Followed by a thorough physical examination manual test of tissues, range of motion testing, strength assessment and neuromuscular control, we identify compensations, asymmetries, and inefficient biomechanics that contribute to pain, recurrent injury, or suboptimal performance. Based on findings from the clinical biomechanical assessment and physical examination, I identify contributing factors such as muscle imbalances, joint restrictions, mobility limitations, and inefficient movement strategies, then develop a personalized plan of care. This plan may include injury rehabilitation to restore function, corrective exercise to improve movement quality and reduce injury risk, and performance programming to optimize strength, efficiency, and long-term resilience. As seen as needed, hands-on interventions may be introduced during the evaluation to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance tissue quality. These may include manual therapy techniques such as sustained pressure, soft-tissue mobilization, myofascial deep tissue techniques, and targeted Theragun® release. For lower-body recovery and circulatory support, air compression boots may be utilized to reduce muscle soreness, promote lymphatic return, and support recovery. Patients complete the evaluation with a clear understanding of their condition, movement mechanics, and next steps, along with a personalized structured plan outlining recommended treatment frequency, targeted interventions, and a clear path toward recovery or peak performance.
